Well Being
Mental wellbeing includes things like our emotions and moods, feelings of satisfaction and fulfillment, the experiences that shape us as children, and whether we have more good mental health days than bad. Surgeon General - Social Isolation and Loneliness
There are a lot of factors that can lead to better mental health...
A nutritious diet and regular exercise,
Connecting with friends and family,
And even where you live!
Key Tips to remember
Social Connection
The U.S. Surgeon General has released an advisory calling attention to the public health crisis of loneliness, isolation, and lack of connection in the United States. Consider getting involved with a faith group, sports meetup, or other club that interests you!
Tobacco Treatment
Smoking and vaping can take a toll on your physical and mental health. Consider talking with a doctor, or visiting an online quit resource (such as My Life, My Quit) to improve feelings of anxiety and depression.
Healthy Eating and Mental Health
Your diet and you mental health are connected! Consider selecting healthier options to stabilize mood, feelings of hunger, and overall better mental health days.
