What is safe routes to school?
Exercise improves health conditions and can prevent disease.
Regular exercise helps prevent or manage many health problems and concerns, including stroke, metabolic syndrome, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, depression, anxiety, many types of cancer, arthritis, and falls.

Exercise Routine
Guidelines for adults recommend at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity a week. You might split that into 22 minutes a day or 30 minutes a day for 5 days. You can use any combination that fits your schedule.
